On March 31 we were pleased to hear from Pat Milligan from the UVU business program. He has previously worked for Game Stop and Kraft Foods and did the brand management for the Oreo cookie when it was 100 years old. For a part of the capstone project at UVU the students worked with businesses in Germany. German businesses are masters of planning. Pat helps his students understand all of the small details that make German businesses, like Mercedes-Benz, run phenomenally well. At the UVU Smart Lab they even use a unique technology called electroencephalography (EEG) that tracks the emotions of test clients in order to provide feedback on how customers react to adds. To find out more about this ingenious technology, watch this Youtube video.
