Upcoming Rotary Programs March 19, 2015 - Don Savage March 26, 2015 - Alan Roberts (Speaking on the Salamander Letters) Report of Provo Rotary Meeting Held March 12, 2015 President Ricky Hood  conducted today's meeting.  The pledge was handled by President Hood and Ron led the anthem.  Tyler Vigue  gave the opening prayer. Sgt. at Arms duties were performed by  Linda Pemberton , who asked questions about soccer. No Chaplain report was made. David Rogers presented a pair of guests and Steve Sabins attended with his son, Ryan. Ricky Hood then turned the time over to Tom Powell. SPEAKER Tom Powell  spoke on the power of The Rotary Foundation to make positive changes in the world.  He asked a number of questions, and even rewarded correct answers with cash.  He spoke of his own experience in changing into a true Rotarian and the good he has seen from the organization performed throughout the world.  He encouraged each of the members to dedicate themselves to being

Carol Walker  gave the opening prayer. Sgt. at Arms duties were performed by Linda Pemberton , who asked a series of questions on NASCAR. No Chaplain report was made. No guests were present. Ray Beckham then introduced the speaker. SPEAKER Roger Thompson of Provo Parks and Recreation spoke on the benefits provided to the area by both the Parks side of the organization and the Recreation side of the organization.  He spoke on the things that the City of Provo was currently doing, the ways they were working to minimize the money needed from the community and become more self-sufficient, and plans for the future.
