July 27, 2017 Wes Marriott Speaks to the Provo Rotary Club Wes Marriott, a local entrepreneur who is running for the city-wide seat on the Provo City Council was the speaker this week at the Provo Rotary Club. Wes focused his remarks on the need for local government to be innovative and engaging, and how the processes for citizens to participate in local government issues should be simplified and streamlined to be more accessible to all. Logan Moffett, Newest Provo Rotarian This week we also officially welcomed the newest member of the Provo Rotary Club, Logan Moffet. July  20, 2017 Our guest presenter at Rotary on July 20th was BYU Professor and co-author of "The Business Ethics Field Guide,"Aaron Miller. Aaron challenged us to think about the variety of situations that we may have been in or may be in at some point where competing values and priorities actually create ethical dilemmas. July 13 Report from the Rotary International Convention Tom Powell, with the support of his sweet wife, led the presentation on what transpired at this year's Rotary International Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Nathan Beesley, Ruth Riley, Dean Jackson, and David Rogers all also shared thoughts and insights from the Convention. It was a wonderful meeting!

June 29, 2017 INDUCTION OF NEW OFFICERS The 2017-2018 Board of the Provo Rotary Club L-R: Don Jarvis, Ruth Riley, Nathan Beesley, Joey Hansen, Darrell Jakins, Linda Pemberton, Al Cutler, Danny Prager, Jim Calder, and Paul Warner We celebrated the conclusion of a wonderful year under the leadership of Don Jarvis. He and his team did a fabulous job and will be greatly appreciated for their service. Don Jarvis shares some highlights from his year as President Inducted as President of the Provo Rotary Club for 2017-2018 is NATHAN BEESLEY, who shared a wonderful message including some of the stories of how he became not just a member of Rotary, but a true Rotarian. Nathan reminded us that "this is not my club, your club, or our club; this is THE ROTARY CLUB and we are here to serve others."
