Upcoming Rotary Programs February 26, 2015 - Roger Thompson, Provo Director of Parks and Recreation March 12, 2015 - Tom Powell March 19, 2015 - Don Savage March 26, 2015 - Alan Roberts (Speaking on the Salamander Letters) Report of Provo Rotary Meeting Held February 19, 2015 President Ricky Hood  conducted today's meeting.  The pledge was handled by President Hood and Ron led the anthem.  Julie Moon  gave the opening prayer. Sgt. at Arms duties were performed, and the claim was made that no sporting events were held (to the consternation of auto-racing enthusiasts). No guests were present. SPEAKER Victor Morris and Dr. Richard Nielsen spoke on the benefits provided to the area by Rocky Mountain University.  They spoke on the degrees offered, including the unique opportunities provided by the university, and also the challenges that the university has overcome and will continue to face as the growth and demand for its

Julie Moon  gave the opening prayer.  A large number of guests were present, including several of our members' wives.  Tom Powell announced the District Assembly for April 11, 2015 and the District Conference on June 8, 2015.  Ray Beckham then introduced the speaker. SPEAKER Steve Lund  was an early member of Nu-Skin and has served in multiple positions in the company.  He spoke of the opportunities (focusing on the niche Nu-Skin originally filled) and the challenges that face a company like Nu-Ski

Upcoming Rotary Programs February 5, 2015 - Jeff Morris February 12, 2015 - Steve Lund (The meeting on February 12, 2015 will be held at Nu Skin) Report of Provo Rotary Meeting Held January 29, 2015 President Ricky Hood  conducted today's meeting.   Ron Roberts  performed double-duty by both leading and accompanying the National Anthem on the piano.  Following the pledge,  Carson  gave the opening prayer. Linda Pemberton  acted as Sgt. at Arms, and the questions were focused on the Super Bowl. The Speaker was the only guest to be introduced, and no Chaplain report was made. . SPEAKER Speaker  Alan Roberts  spoke on restoration projects he has been associated with and, in particular, the Federal and State tax credits that are available to help with the costs of such restorations.  He also spoke on the use of green technologies in restoration projects.
