Report of the Provo Rotary Luncheon Meeting held March 15, 2012

Today's meeting was held at Riverside Country Club with President Steve Densley conducting. Ron Roberts and Jill Moon provided the music. An invocation was offered by Joey Hansen.
     Guests: Frank Gardner introduced Janet Russon, figure-skating coordinator of the Peaks Ice Arena. Rick Gregory introduced two Provo Police leaders Mark Crosby and Bryan Soule. Greg Hudnall introduced his assistant Cathy Bledsoe. Dean Jackson introduced Lt. Richard Ferguson of the Provo PD. Glen Zaugg was accompanied by Spencer Thomas, Development Director of Heritage Schools. Joey Hansen introduced Katie Atwood, an intern at the Utah Valley Healthcare Foundation.
     President Steve Densley announced the annual Rotary District Conference for Utah which will be held June 1-2 at the Zermatt resort in Midway.
     He also congratulated Dan Ellertson on a successful fund-raiser for the Red Cross.

     Rick Hood was scheduled to serve as sergeant today but he called in sick so Steve Densley fined everyone $1 unless they are Irish.

     President Steve Densley introduced our speaker, fellow Rotarian Greg Hudnall, volunteer chair of the Utah Task Force on Suicide Prevention and Associate Superintendent for the Provo City School District. His presentation appears below.





















President  Steve Densley concluded the meeting with his weekly presidential parable: The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it in your pocket.
