Report of the Provo Rotary Club meeting June 27, 2013

Today's meeting was held at Riverside Country Club with President Vaughn Park conducting. Ron Roberts provided dinner music. Jill Moon conducted singing of the anthem. An invocation was offered by Phil Barker.
Two Provo Rotarians passed away this past week. Quent Bates and Strat Wendelboe. The club observed a moment of silence in respect for these two outstanding Rotarians.

Guests today included Jason Roundy, guest of Julie Bolton; Jane Carlile, wife of Craig Carlile and director of Provo Community Action; Karen McCandless, Provo City Councilwoman; Elaine Smith, wife of Les Smith; and Ruth Zaugg, wife of incoming Provo Rotary President Glen Zaugg.

President Vaughn Park reported that our fine fellow Provo Rotarian and the Provo City Police Chief, Rick Gregory, will be leaving his post with Provo City and moving to Ohio. As a result he will be resigning his membership in the club in July.

Rotarian Don Jarvis reported that July is Clear the Air month and distributed fliers.

Assistant District Governor Steve Tolley conducted the annual induction of new officers. First he thanked all who have served as officers and directors of the Provo Rotary Club, Inc. for the 2012-2013 year:

Next he administered the oath of office to incoming Provo Rotary President Glen Zaugg. Glen was
