Report of Provo Rotary Luncheon Meeting August 30, 2012


Today's meeting was held at Riverside Country Club. President Vaughn Park conducted with Ron Roberts and Jill Moon providing the music. An invocation was offered by Rick Hood.

Val Hale was introduced as a guest.

President Vaughn Park thanked the summer party committee for a wonderful party last Thursday evening at Jolley's Ranch in Hobble Creek Canyon. 

Since we had our district governor we celebrated birthdays for the month of September for: Brad Norton, Pete Pletsch, Tom Powell and Ethan Shumway.

President Vaughn Park introduced Governor Jerry Summerhays, this year's district governor for Utah. Jerry introduced himself and his wife Sherry and spoke about several of the programs in Rotary, especially those that are being highlighted this year. Thanks Governor Summerhays!

Odell took questions from the group and talked a lot about the greatest asset that Provo has is its human capital; the people that live here.
