Report of the Provo Rotary Club meeting held July 29, 2010

The Rotary luncheon was held at the Provo Downtown Marriott Hotel. President Steve Tolley conducted the meeting. Jill Moon lead and Ron Roberts accompanied the singing of the Anthem and Pledge. Ron Pugh offered an invocation.

Jeff Alexander served as sergeant talking about trivia from past sergeants and asking questions about the new president of Rotary International. Greg Hudnall stood around and got his picture taken.

Dean Jackson introduced speaker Ron Clark, Guest Relations Director for BYU for more than 22 years. He spoke about his daily experiences hosting foreign and domestic government dignitaries and many others of the world’s VIPs as they come to Provo to tour BYU. “You not only see BYU, but feel it.”

Prior to his time at BYU he spent nearly fifteen years as the PR and hosting director for the Osmond family during their most famous years. He traveled with them extensively as they performed around the world. He told several funny and interesting stories and anecdotes.
