Today's
meeting was held at Riverside Country Club. President-elect Glen Zaugg conducted with Jill Moon and Ron Roberts providing the music. An invocation was
offered by Dean Jackson.

Guests: Rick Hood introduced Mr. and Mrs. Chris Figureida, cyclists who rode from Death Valley to Mt. McKinley and back. David Rogers introduced his business partner Jerilyn Bearnson. Provo Rotary is delighted to welcome back Kevin Williams who has recently joined Bank of Utah.
President-elect Glen Zaugg mentioned that there are two seats at the Provo Rotary Club table at the Heritage School gala next Tuesday evening. Any takers?

David Rogers served as sergeant with happy dollars for UVU joining the Western Athletic Conference.
Jim Calder introduced Vic Ludlow, fellow Provo Rotarian and today's speaker. Vic gave a masterful presentation about the Middle-east area of the world and went into more detail about the country of Israel.

The Middle-east is comprised of seventeen nations and is basically the same size as the US. Turkey is to Europe as California is the the US -- it has very fertile agriculture and exports its goods to the rest of Europe.
