President Steve Densley reported that Lee Gallagher's husband is having health problems and is currently on dialysis awaiting a kidney transplant.

Ricky Hood served has sergeant asking Rotary trivia.

Don Jarvis introduced today's speaker, Dr. Shane Schvaneveldt, Weber State Professor of Management and a graduate of the Goddard School of Business and Economics.

He spoke about the triple bottom line businesses now face, a paradigm shift in recent years: 1) financial responsibility, 2) social responsibility, and 3) environmental performance -- green sustainability.
An example of this is the introduction of a front-loading clothes washer which has positive social and environmental impact while having substantial positive impact on the financial bottom line. The paradigm shift extends toward green economical sustainability in all steps of production.
