Report of the Provo Rotary Club meeting May 16, 2013

Today's meeting was held at Riverside Country Club with President Vaughn Park conducting. Jill Moon lead the singing, Ron Roberts provided dinner music. An invocation was offered by Don Jarvis.

Tom Powell reported that Strat Wendelboe is alert and loves having visitors in the Provo Rehab and Nursing facility.

Paul Warner reported that the Freedom Festival is looking for volunteers to help with the July 4 Grand Parade in Provo. Call the Freedom Festival offices for details.

RYLA is looking for adults leaders. This is the annual youth leadership retreat sponsored by Rotary held annually at Heber Valley  Camp.

President Vaughn Park reported that Chris Matthews has taken a new job in downtown Salt Lake City and will be leaving our club. Stan Miller has announced his retirement as the club's secretary/treasurer effective June 30, 2013.

Jeff Alexander served as sergeant and announced a June 19 golf tournament at Sleepy Ridge benefiting UVU basketball.
