The meeting was conducted by President-elect Glen Zaugg. Dinner music was provided by Ron Roberts. The singing was conducted by Jill Moon. Steve Sabins offered an invocation.

Paul Warner reported that Strat Wendelboe has been moved to Provo Rehab and is growing weaker.
President-elect Glen Zaugg reported that pledges are still needed for the climbing wall at the Provo Recreation Center. The club's pledge is $50,000 over three years. Just over half that amount has been pledged by club members so far.
Ray Beckham reported that we have purchased twenty park benches to be placed in parks and trails around Provo this spring. The club's foundation is paying for half the cost and the balance of $415 per bench is being raised. Seven of that number remain to be paid. If you wish your company or family name to appear on one of the benches, please contact Ray Beckham.

The speaker, Matt Montague of Hartford Investments, was introduced by Steve Tolley. Matt
is a former BYU basketball point guard and still holds a few records in the Marriott Center. Before Hartford he was with the Wheelchair Foundation.M

Matt
reported that Hartford handles about $800 billion in invested funds. He
said that Hartford's philosophy of investment is to be "cyclical
contrarians." As noted investment adviser Robert Allen is quoted: "Find
out what everyone is doing (investing) and don't do it -- do the
opposite."
