The Rotary luncheon was held at the Provo Downtown Marriott Hotel. President-elect Steve Tolley conducted the meeting. Jill Moon lead and Ron Roberts accompanied the singing of the Anthem and Pledge. Ray Beckham offered an invocation.

Linda Palmer happily reported that the annual Rotary Festival Classic golf tournament held last Monday was a wonderful success earning over $34,700 to be donated to local childrens charities.
Carl Belliston served as sergeant asking people about their gardens while raising a few dollars for the Provo Rotary Charitable Foundation:
Bryant Larsen introduced the speaker Alan Heath, director of the Asia area for FamilySearch.com, the new name for the Genealogical Society of Utah. The slogan is Family Search: Where Generations Meet.
There is a wave of genealogical research coming. Family Search currently has around six billion records in its data base (of an estimated 70 billion records in the world). According to UNESCO up to half of all children born have no official record of their birth. Mr. Health showed a video clip of the granite mountain storage vaults where hard copies of records are stored in climate-controlled environment.
He concluded with this comment: The Family Search online genealogical program and its associated assets is the largest and most complex technology project in the world.
