Last week Marian Wardle, the BYU Museum of art curator came to visit the Provo Rotary Club.As the museum curator of American Art, Marian helps find the origins of paintings received without records in order to be able to place them in the museum. She told us the story of two enchanting paintings and the layers of ownership history she needed to delve into in order to find their origins. Below you will find a photo of one of those paintings as well as a photo of Marian.
