The same meeting will be repeated November 10 at Dixie State College in St. George.
The club has purchased tables at two upcoming galas. Members of the club are welcome to reserve seats to represent Rotary at the Boys and Girls Club gala November 9 at Provo's Academy Square ballroom, and the annual Boy Scout gala November 16 at Riverside Country Club honoring our own Provo Rotarian Ray Beckham and his wife Janette.

The chaplain's report included Strat Wendelboe who is still in rehab at Stonehenge, and V-Ann Ludlow, wife of fellow Rotarian Vic Ludlow, who has been gravely ill.
Pete Pletsch served as sergeant.
Tom Powell introduced today's speaker, Brent Wood, owner of three notable Utah Companies: The Wencor Group, DigEcor, and the Clear Horizons Academy for children with autism.
The Wencor Group has over 400 employees in Springville generating over $227 million in 2011. The include Wencor, Dixie Aerospace (largest manufacturer of aerospace bearings in the world), Kitco Defense (military), Aerospace Coatings and Absolute Aviation (avionics electronics).
This group manufactures and supplies parts to over 400 airlines around the world. They manage inventory and parts for many airlines. The average airplane has 850,000 parts. Wencor stocks and supplies 225,000 of those. They make over 2,500 shipments per day from the warehouse in Springville.
DigEcor makes portable media players and display monitors used on planes and trains, each with a hard drive.
The Clear Horizons Academy for autistic children is located in Provo. Utah has the largest incidence of autism of any state in the union with about 1 in 48 children being diagnosed. Boys are three times more likely to have autism than girls. The new facility in the Riverbottoms has about 30,000 square feet.
