Report of Provo Rotary Luncheon Meeting June 21,
2012
Today's
meeting was held at Riverside Country Club. Past-president Steve Tolley
conducted with Ron Roberts and Jill Moon providing the
music. An invocation was offered by Wil Feller.

Guests included Gwenail Nadeau of Valance, France. Janet Russon introduced her mother.
Darrell Jakins was welcomed as a new member by Jim Calder.
Carol Walker announced a Harley Davidson ride as a fund-raising event.

Past-president Steve Tolley recognized the outgoing members of the club's board of directors: Julie Bolton and Steve Sabins as directors, and Steve Tolley as past-president. He thanked Steve Densley for his year of service as the club's president and presented him with a gavel plaque and past-president pin.

These new officers were sworn-in then Steve Densley made farewell remarks followed by Vaughn Park and his wife, Judy, making formal introductions of themselves and their family. They have five children and thirteen grandchildren. Vaughn is a well-respected veterinarian and loves animals. He is good to his staff. He loves Rotary and attended the 2011 international Rotary convention in New Orleans. He is a former LDS bishop. He looks forward to creating new traditions within the club while continuing all the wonderful traditions we have developed in the past.
