Provo Rotary Weekly Bulletins

On February 18 we heard from the very Ron Roberts and his parents, Rick and Mary Jo Roberts. Each week, Rob creates a peaceful atmosphere at our Rotary meetings through his beautiful piano playing. We will continue to hear from Ron each week and encourage anyone looking for a master piano player to contact him. Tomorrow, we are fortunate to get to hear from Greg Carlisle, a radio personality who works closely with the governor and state legislature.

We may be a bit slow on our wishes, but we sure are delighted to celebreate 111 years of Rotary this February 23rd!!

Last week we were so excited to visit Stan Lockhart at IM Flash. He took us on the grand tour around the building and helped club members understand the tremendous beneficial impact IM Flash has on our community's economics. Tomorrow we are delighted to hear from the very talented Ron Roberts.

Last week on February 4 we were happy to hear from Todd Nebeker, the Associate Athletic Director at UVU. He talked with us about many of the changes and developments going on at UVU.

Here is an update from last weeks' meeting on January 28, 2016. We were honored to have Robert Grow, President and CEO of Envision Utah.

Today's announcement: Our speaker for today (19 Nov) will be Ginger Woolley, who will tell us about that incredibly popular nearby gem, Rock Canyon, and how she and a small group of good people (including Sen. John Valentine) have managed to preserve it in an epic 40-year struggle.  It's instructive and entertaining.  Ginger kindly agreed to step in and present to us after our scheduled speaker, Prof. Neal Bangerter, suddenly had to leave town on professional business involving his cutting-edge MRI research.  He will address us on 10 December.   There will be no Provo Rotary Luncheon next week, November 26, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
